Im thinking about going with the Bilstein shocks and struts, and the Eibach sportline springs for my mustang does anyone think this is a good idea or should i go for something else i dont plan onm racing to much i need it mostly for just driving.
Sean
Will's gonna disagree with me here, but getting Eibach Pro-Kits will probably be better. Sportlines tend to drop the car too much while being too soft for any sort of real performance gains.

I will be selling my 5 way adjustable Tokicos, but I won't be able to give you a timeframe on that.
Kurt
There you go... Prokits with adjustable shocks will make a pretty good package.
Don't get me wrong. Bilsteins are great, but they're designed for stock springs for whatever application. With shorter progressive rate springs, their spring rate is much higher and you need a shock that can adequately dampen it for proper handling. Bilsteins will be okay, but will eventually wear out. An adjustable shock, like the Tokico or Koni DA will allow proper dampening.

Yea i was also thinking of going with adjustable shocks. Kurt how much do you think you would sell them for and would they fit my 90 mustang. I was reading the reviews on those shocks and they didn't get the best rating a cuple of people didn't like them at all. But they could of fucked up on installation or something. I would like to buy new but i dont have to much money to spend if anyone knows of any cheaper but good adjustable or non adjustable shocks let me know.

I know they will fit your mustang for sure, because I had them in my 93'. I think the Tokico's are a little more hardcore than most people are prepared for. Some people want to build an awesome handling car, but they don't realize that they have to sacrifice the soft ride. I am running them with a Steeda G-trac 3 kit, which is the second best stock setup handling kit ever made for a mustang (second only to the Steeda 5 link). I am using them with Steeda springs. I have a tubular K-member in the closet, and I want to swap over to a coil over setup when I do it. I don't know how long it will be before I will be able to afford that though. I am inbetween jobs right now.

Thats alright im not planing on getting anything for at least a month anyway so mabey by then you can sell them. Its ok i dont mind a bumpy hard ride concidering right now my car is basically riding on the floor because my springs and shocks are completly shot. It is basically and inch off the ground no kidding. I drove it from florida to new york like that.

Actually, Ed, the pro kits are really good ecspecially for the F-bodies, they don't need to be lowered as much as sport lines would provide. I think both kits would be good. I would also take a look at HAL QA1 shocks and struts with a coil over conversion if that is feasible for you.

Yeah, I won't be able to sell them for a long time. I need to save up like $2000 to finish up my suspension. I've spent so much money on flight training that I am behind quite a bit. At $10/hr, it is going to take me awhile to get there.

Yea im going to look into those but i think that they are peob going to be just alittle tomuch money concering i barly have enogh for normal shocks and struts. Yea kurt i think it might just take alittle bit of a long time to earn $2000 while getting $10 an hour while paying to flight. No problem though i guess ll just have to buy new. If anyone else has any ideas im all ears.

I had Tokico Illumina II's they were expensive $178 a piece but were awsome shocks. Its the same shock Steeda switched their Cobra R's to for road racing.
The Billstiens are good as well, they come standard on the more sporty GM suspension packages, WS6, SS, and Firehawk for example.

That's what I have in my car, and they work great. They are too stiff for dragracing.
