To: Someone who HAS dyno'd their motor

Try this program and tell me if it gives an accurate account of your motor:

What I'm worried about most isn't the HP/Tq results but the knock index. This program says my motor will have a 4-5 point knock index on 93 octane where anything above 2 will surely detonate.

Note, you need VERY detailed specs on your motor for this program to be accurate.

I think there's a total of 4 people in here that know enough about their motors to actually use it and get something meaningfull out of it....
If you know your exact power numbers (preferably at the crank) and you cam specs, we'll run that and fuss with it to see how close it gets...

I find those program quite interesting at the stand point of researching the different affects that a part might have. It's even more interesting when you have access to real proven combos and you compare the real life results to the computed results.

This is the purpose of this thread
