Yeah even with slicks, granted their brand new, i was spinning my ass off. So on both runs i had to let off everytime i went to the floor or i started to go sideways!
Oh yeah and then i broke my car as well. Damn steering shaft or something, i can hardly move the steering wheel at all.

you all gotta know that it takes at least a good week of no rain racing on the track before it gets nice and sticky. VHT and water dont mix and the OSW crew dont seem to prep the track all that great for test and tune for some reason. it did rain today which means the track prolly didnt have enough fresh rubber down. too bad they dont prep the track as good as they do when there is the midnight drags happening. ive learned to stay away from osw in the summer :D damn i miss winter!

The problem is nobody listens.............when we met at MD I said that the worst times to race is after the rain. I even told Jermy watch none turning any good time tonight. What do I know?

Oh by the way...........my car is running like ass too for some reason. Its some kinda of a sensor that I can't pin point or maybe even the fuel system. Its like the running ass season of the year for everybody :D

JT.........I have a 10bolt if u want it for really cheap.

Eddie give me some details on that 10bolt!! what gears are in it 4.10's?
do they whine at all? does your car have traction control?
Im not sure how much longer this one will keep spinning as when I roll to a stop I can literally hear each gear grinding away :banghead:

Man that sucks for you guys that broke stuff. i wouldn't even think of going out after the rain, no way to many guys that had bad results. That really sucks for the guy who broke his rear.

I actually had a descent night. I ran a best of 14.4 which was my goal for the night. I don't believe I could do all too much better. perhaps a 14.3 or MAYBE 14.2 my speed through the traps was a constant 97.6mph ALL NIGHT LONG. things were very consistent, the only thing I was doing wrong was my R/T. I was happy.

reaction time doesnt hurt your ET unless you're bracket racing....

Wow Luke, Good job man !
I had a pretty crummy night as well, but then again practice makes perfect. I believe that the humidity played the biggest part in everything.... too much moisture in the air stinks for power.

You guys need to start spraying. Nitrous doesn't care what the air is like outside the intake.

Perhaps not, but the rubber on our tires still cares if the asphalt is slippery.

How was your time at Gainseville vs. OSW Jon?
