Posted about this a while back. Now that I've got my shocks/springs installed and tranny rebuilt I want to get these subframe connectors welded in. Only problem is I can't find anyone to do it, well not for a "reasonable" price. Action performance wanted $160 to put them in which I think is significantly too high. Called a number of exhaust shops, including Holly Hill Muffler(which I was told is just Holly Hill Converter now), and they all basically told me they only do welding on exhaust systems. Finally got one to put it up on the lift this morning. However, once they saw they had to unbolt the LCA's to slide the SFC's in they wanted no part of it. So now I'm back at square one. I think my best option right now is to have my buddy get in touch with the guy at Billy Built 4x4, who's built up a number of his trucks, and ask him if he could help me out. I know they do suspension and welding work at that shop. Does anyone here have any suggestions? Like I said, I called probably 10-15 shops in the area, and basically got a "no" at all of them.

Was the price given to you at Action with the interior in or out?

In, out I believe it was like $110 or so. That's still high in my opinion for the amount of work that's done. I know people who've gotten them put in for $40, unfortunately it wasn't at any place around here.
