The motor swap options for a 3rd gen have been narrowed down to one motor, the GMPP ramjet 350. The LT1/LS1 swap requires 4K in conversion parts, therefore it is not a viable option. I have confirmed that the GMPP ramjet comes with wiring harness and computer ( in the engine bay!) The only cuncern now is whether the electronic hookups will be compatible with all the other crap on the dash. IF you know any local shops that may know a thing or two about a swap like this let me know. \

How does an LT1 cost $4000 in parts? I know an LS1 can get expensive, but an LT1 shouldn't be that bad.

Yea kurt, your right, the LS1 conversion is the more costly of the two. the GMPP ramjet 350 has its ECU on the intake manifold. Doesnt get much more straightforward and simple than that.
