It was in Georgia,so I took off today and went to get it....no big deal..5 1/2 hours and I was there.....well that's the end of the good news!

The guy gives me the wrong cell number....but I found the shop.I go around back to talk to the owner and he is nowhere to be found!His worker shows me the hood...This is where I about SHIT myself.

Some AZZHOLE knocked the hood over last night.....or so he says! :banghead: :banghead:

Whatever......... I am about to go postal on someone...I'm friggin pissed....Not too mention my parents drove down from Atlanta to eat lunch before I went back.I haven't seen them in a year.Well that whole idea is out the door.I get the guys real number and he works down the street...at FUGGIN Nopi...of all places!He is like WTF?I looked at the hood yesterday and took pics and it was perfect!

I drive over and meet him and we chew it over for about an hour....not pretty.Not pretty at all. :rant: and some more.He's all cool and shit so that helped...anyways he ends up takin another significant amount of money off...I go back get the hood and put it in the back of my Blazer..I look just like this the whole time :blah:

They offered to paint the hood and ship it to me for free...why in the hell would I want them to do that?I'll take the discount thank you and be on my way..and someone owes me a favor now!! :boink:

How would you react to this and what would you do.?.

That seems like one of those, If you'll hold on and just take it it will pay off in the end things.

Sounds Familier though, the Dealership I bought my car from Fucked up when they tried to jump the car, didnt hurt anything but the embarrassment cost them about a grand off the Sticker price.

Id make um take it down in price and fix it anyway, seems only fair for the bullshit.

Well it's too damn late now..it's on my car and I'm tryin to deal with the little marks.It does fit good...should have seen me taking my steel hood off by myself.... :chin: :slap: :crossed: then :squint: then lift.lots of fun.

I had no idea how much lighter the WS6 ones are...gotta be half the wieght! :cheers:

Just how bad are the marks? If you were to run your fingernail over them, could you feel them pretty noticably or are they not that deep?

I think what u did was wrong............never go pick up the part from anybody. It could be very much a set-up and u can get hurt over it. They know ur coming with the money and u gonna be in their area, so not a damn thing u can do if pull a gun or call for 6 guys to rough u up. Plus I had a feeling that the hood was already like that and they want to shaft u, but it didn't work.

Hard to say...reputable shop...and had some recommendations about him.

I have pics and the marks are not there.It's only got two small dig marks...about1/8th by 1/4....I will fill them slowly over the next week and see what I can come up with.Plus wetsanding would more than likely help them go away.

Eddie..no worries babe!....Glock21...just like A/E don;t travel without tit...plus my father checked it out before I got there.He a large man.Good thing I wasn't goin to pick up my crack shipment.I had no idea he'd check them out first. :)
