I guess I'll be new this semester. I joined last year, but didn't have any car to get around with. This year I've got a 2000 Grand Am GT (as you've probably heard), I'm sophomore Aero Sci, and doing AFROTC.

I'm new this year, incoming freshman but I'm 25...took a little time off to sober up. Not sure if my car will fit in well...I have a '76 Jeep CJ7. Body and suspension are stock but I put a bored out Chevy 350 in it with a Edlebrock performer intake and carb and some headman headers. High lift cams, aluminum heads, one piece cast iron crankshaft, high output ignition...etc... It's only got 3 gears so it's not fast. It's more of just a fun project. During the rebuild I replaced as much as I could with performance parts, basically had christmas early at summit racing and jeggs. I had it dyno'd at 375rwhp before I moved down here. I think it actually runs better here. Don't think the carb was set correctly for the altitude back home.

It'll be the slowest one of the bunch, but it sure sounds pretty once the needle swings past 3k.
