I agree they are a bunch of idiots.. but to "let out of it" is not always the answer, as demonstrated by the civic. I guarantee that is exactly what he did, jerked his foot off the gas while torque steering and that is what made him spin back in front of the truck
Wouldn't you need torque in order to torque steer? :eyebrow:

Luckily for civic guys, it's easy to torque steer a FWD just because of the weight transfer.. so they can give the impression of torque.. I believe they rate it in Hamster feet.

The way that civic driver lost it...wtf...that had to be some of the worst car handling abilities I've ever seen- its like he barely turned, and the car spun....
And the MR2 is what happens when you give a 16 year old poser rear wheel drive.

will.. your car is understreer biased, too. :D
99.99% of cars are. This is a good thing. Oversteer sucks a lot worse, ask any 911 owner :\

From the factory his WAS, I have this memory of him going sideways trying to keep up with me coming off a corner, oversteer is a great thing

It may have been from the factory, but Dan and Jon can testify that it isn't anymore. With the traction control off the rear end gets tired of following the front wheels very easily in the turn.

civics dont have ABS and beleive me from riding with my buddy the rear tires will lock up easily. he probably jumped on the brakes real hard locked up the rears and instead of steering into the slide he steered into the curb.

:banghead: WHY DO THEY LET PEOPLE LIKE THAT DRIVE!!! That MR2 vid was hilarious... What tempted him to do that? Was he trying to Jihad the Volkswagon or something?
The guy in the MR2 was probably watching the gauges instead of the road when it started veering off. You could see the brake lights come on well before he hit the curb.
Still a dumbfuck, though.

he really wasnt even going that fast. Last week when patrick left the garage you could here the car hazing the tires trough third gear and he never wrecked. probably would do it through fourth gear. what a way to wreck a Mr. 2.
