INTENSS

I don't know if anyone else made it out to Super Chevy this past weekend but I managed to get up there on Saturday with my dad and Chris (Hawzen). The show has seemed to grow since I last attended 2 years ago. About the same size show area but a much larger new parts area, used parts area, and an actual car corral. The staging lanes were pretty packed...looked like more racers as well.
Pictures from the event can be seen here:

We also got to see a world record run in Nitro Coupes (seems there's a new record every time you go to an event) by a '39 Chevy running 6.11 @ 226mph. Pretty damn fast.

No one stopped you from going Eddie... Whut... dont have 20 bucks to get into the show? Just because ermca couldnt pay for you shouldnt have stopped you from going to this event. Its not about the freebies.
Shurrr, come on down to the garage, we'll see you there :). you might just learn how to work on your own car... :D

i like the garage. plus, being cheap, greasy, sweaty and hungry all at the same time whilst workin on a Maro is like... an american tradition. I guess you dont get it. Maybe you should come down and learn a thing or two about what being an enthusiast is really about.
Mmmmmm... chevelle

Eddie, umm just a suggestion, but maybe you should learn how to work on your car before you rag on others for wanting to work on theirs.
You know it is possible to change your own oil without going to Jiffy Lube right ??

....c) I got an 800 on verbal of SAT,....
Actually, if you want to nit pick the word "got" would be better replaced with "received" or perhaps "was awarded". And I only received 700 on verbal out of my 1500 score.
Regardless of all that, Eddie, he wins.:slap:
Now back to your regularly scheduled topic:
Those are some great photos; I am now wishing that I had gone to race there Saturday.
Sorry Sean, just had to bust your balls
Maybe u should learn how to spell before u work on cars.Eddie...the LAST thing you should be doing is ragging on someone for poor spelling and/or grammar. :blah:

1. Another topic that has gotten off topic and that has become personal, as well as, stupid.
2. I don't believe Eddie's comment was to bring anyone down or rag on anyone for working on there own cars. He was just being his sarcastic self again. I'm surprised no one has figured that out yet.
3. Sean: That graphic is getting old and quite annoying
4. Back to the original topic at hand. We had a good time Saturday. Some very nice cars and the Nitro Coupes were very impressive.

It seems to me that u guys are being unfair to me. Anything I say if it was joke or serious matter..... everybody gets on my case. Nothing I say is degrading or disrespectful to anybody in anyway, yet I get response from everybody even when its something that deosn't concern them. Its like everybody is waiting for my comments to retaliate.
Will...........I owned more cars than u will ever have in ur entire life and yes I do know that I can change oil by self but I just don't wanna do it. U guys take such pride on working on ur cars which doesn't bother me but that doesn't make me any less than anybody. Ur comments reflects no intellectual meaning not to mention they are coming from u so they are void.
For everybody else please grow up or at least start acting like grown people.

Eddie, we arent as stupid as you look man, give us a break.
and p.s. i couldnt care in the slightest how many cars you have owned, but if it makes you feel better than congratulations.

I was just making a relevant comment that by owning more than 8 cars I know that oil change is achievable through individule effort. I know that u don't care how many cars I owned, but that irrelevamt here.
Who mentioned anything about u or anybody else being stupid?

no one, but your attitude portrays the fact that you believe us all to be that way.

I'd agree that Eddie is the last person to be judging spelling errors...his last post gives us such gems as "individule" and "irrelevamt" :D
Eddie, by now I don't think you really mean to come off sounding like an ass...you just DO come off sounding like an ass. Nearly every post is about you compared to others, and it comes off sounding selfish and arrogant. Not trying to be demeaning, just FYI so you can see OUR point of view.
Wish I coulda gone to Super Chevy, but I had way too much work :(

U guys fail to understand that my comments about the spelling is not really about the spelling. I was told that I should go to the garage to learn a thing or two. I siad maybe u should learn how to spell as in my way of saying I'm not interested to work on cars at the moment. Maybe my way of hiding meanings between the lines is not the best way, but it really doesn't require every member and his first cuz to comment on it and post what they think of my English abilities.
Jeff......I don't really see ur point of view coz its not making any sense to me. Where did I compare myself in this thread or other threads to anybody?
Now as far as super Chevy...........I want to go so bad not coz it was gonna be free, but coz I want to go to a big show with a group of people that share the same interest.

Some of the conduct of our officers and older club members is unbecoming. I'll be sure to speak with those in question some time in the near future.
