Grand-Am Racing @ Daytona

For the next 3 days there's going to be racing. Today I saw Cup Series cars practicing. There were 2 new Cobras, a Formula WS6, LT1 Firehawk and SS, Porches, Acuras, and Vettes. Its $20 for infield, or you can see it from the stands for free.

Jonathan and I have some tickets available. Dunno if any of his are spoken for, but if you want some, let me know. First come, first served. They're free, but I don't know if it's just grandstand or infield/grandstand. Parking fee for infield still applies either way, if you decide to drive in.

I got to go all the way down into the Hot/active pits today because i was in my DUSA uniform.... Yes that is right, the Clemson C5R came into the pits and did a pit stop right in front of me. Literally 3 feet away. and Boy are those 18" wide tires hot ans sticky when they come off the car. :)

And more importantly, I saw it.... thats right IT

A McLaren F1 GTR !!!! Friggin amazing man just purely awe inspiring..
Its the only McLaren F1 i have ever seen in person and probably ever will and boys, i can say it really is all its made out to be. It was in the Busch Garages and i got to stand next to it and go look inside at the center seat. :drool:
