Nadia's Transformation

After 3 long years of spraypaint and primer, Nadia goes in for her transformation on Sept 28. Celico Paint up in Ormond is painting her. I go in tomorrow at 1:00 to pick out colors, go over body work needed, etc. They're giving me a great deal. It's $1200 for everything...body work, paint, taking off trim, etc...even welding up the holes in my hatch. I'm really excited.

If you don't know the official plan, here it is. Nadia is going back to all original. She will be white with a red stripe around the body moulding on the bottom. The interior and exterior will all be original. However, the engine will be another story.

Well, since my baby will be in the shop untouchable for a week at least, anyone want to volunteer to help me get around town? I'll pay for gas!!

oh please don't put the red stripe back in there....That was my one complaint ever with the fox's. You don't know how long it took me to find a white one with no red stripe. Don't do it don't do it. Just go all white please please please i beg go all white. Even if you have the porno red interior no red stripe outside.

why you figured that painting a car was cheap? 2600 is still on the cheap side for a descent paint job. Spend the money, it'll be worth it in the long run.

You can dye the interior really easily if you don't like the color. It looks original.

Well, just so y'all know...I'm rethinking this whole thing. I might put it off another few months. I just feel shitty spending this much money when I'm struggling to pay for school. (Granted, getting my car painted is not even the amount of money I'd be paying for just one class, but still.) Something just doesn't feel right...gut feeling or whatever. Hmm.

Yeah, the red interior doesn't bother me, just the stripe on the outside. I can't take the red stripe for some reason.

$2600 is a pretty good price. I know when i got my car painted it was more then that. The paint on my mom's 65' was closer to 6,000
