I want to switch up to some better solenoids. I thinking a pair of NX 15200s, but they are kind of pricey. Any suggestions on some more affordable options with similiar quality.

How about nytrex. It is owned by someone who use to work for nx. They maybe a little cheaper, Plus I think they are based in Orlando.

I said more affordable, not cheap. If I just wanted cheap, I would stay with the NOS ones I have in there. Thanks Glen, I'll check them out.

NX is clearly the leader in the market right now. TNT uses NX parts and creates kits for specific applications. There are quite a few companies that do that.

I checked out Ny-trex, but there prices were only about $5-$10 cheaper than NX, so I don't think it is worth it. NX has a no questions asked lifetime warranty, so I think I will wait till I see some at a car show and buy them.

Ny-trex also has a lifetime warranty also, and by the way we are ny-trex dealers.

Do you honor NX warranties? I quess I would be looking for a Ny-trex 40012. I know the NX equivalent is $119ish.

nx will fix and or rebuild their bad solenoids, they don't just hand you a new one. If you bought it from us we will fix it for you, by it from the net or the rod run your on your own(kinda like that Eko fella). As you know I will always do my best to help out our customers, as I think I did help you out on that header problem you had before, please correct me if that wasn't you.I'll look it up for you tomorrow.

The help on the header was very much appreciated.

When I talked to the NX guy at the tent at NMRA, he said he would replace any NX solenoid for me on the spot no questions asked. I wasn't sure if they expect that out of their vendors or not. Some companies are just like that. No sweat, I'll try and catch the NX guy at the next mustang show.
