A link of a guy with a built shortblock 4.6L engine Normally Aspirated. Running 12.1's@113. He is expecting 11s this winter.
All with a measily 317rwhp and 314rwtq. Gosh I wish I had 4grand laying around for block, cams, heads, and long tubes.
Tim
he also has a video to download his run.: http://videos.modulardepot.com/1211.wmv
I wish one of our club's GTs could build one of these up, I know I would if I had bling bling

I can tell by the timeslip listing that he has more than just the motor work you listed. That car has a lot of suspension work done too. It is also a really light car, which isn't hard to do with a Fox 5 chasis.

Hey Will dont forget the Tranny, Driveshaft, Suspension, And Rear End mods that you'll want to do with it.
Dont be like my roommate and strap a Stroked 383 to an otherwise Factory S-10..... It wont be pretty.

Actually, most of the drivetrain in a new stang is totally up to the power. The only thing lacking is the half shafts, and they are relatively inexpensive.

way he left the line!
With weight reduction and a measily 260rwhp, you can get your car to launch like that, with suspension mods.

you guys lost me in this thread.
suspension is good.
traction is good
with those two combos, time down the track gets shorter and shorter.
