Well, I'm really sorry that the moderators have to lock threads on our new website. That really cuts into the discussion. I think some people have to understand that in order to have this forum, we have to have language guidlines.

Will is correct, I have 3.55:1 gears and Moser 28 spline axles, and that's it. The original locker has over 100,000 miles on it, and is still able to produce those brain wrenching 1.6 short times. However, the rearend is on the limit, and I would not be surprised at all if it fails. If I redo it, I am going to sell the 28 splines, and get an Eaton 31 spline locker with c-clip eliminator kit. An axle girdle is also in order. I don't have the funds for that right now, so I will just have to wait till it breaks. It is not on the priority list.

Eddie and Nick are also kind of right. I am verys stubborn, and I tend to stand behind the products I believe in. I don't see how that is a character flaw.

Hey, if the discussions can stay on track without talking shit about someone else, nothing will be closed.

Thanks for restarting the good discussion though, Kurt.

Never said it was a Character flaw, but Kurt does stand behind what he has, because it works. Not everything is the best, but that's not the point.. His car is bad ass and it works correct for his application of Street/Strip. The Banana is the badest Stang I've been in, and I fell in love with it the first time I saw it 3 years ago on Troy's Automotive's DynoJet. Since then... Only my hands can touch that Stangs engine other then Kurts.

Amen brother, I would let Nick tear down my engine and put it back together while I read a magazine on the crapper. There aren't that many people I am that confident in. Shh, sometimes I let JB work on it too.

It's all good. JB is a good wrench head. Just don't get a wrench around me.... I'll rip it out your hand and start workin'.

I have the highest torque rating of all....it ain't no bolts out there that are safe from the "torque master" :drevil:

and yes I did work a little on that engine....I got some odd burning scensations when I touched it...kinda like it was a big SIN...

Dood, that wasn't a burn... That was Jesus telling you this is your path to heaven, and any other motor is a one way ticket to eternal life of header burns.
