I have a '96 Z28 camaro and starting a few days ago, when i would turn on my windsheild defroster, i would smell a lot a unburned gas fumes... any ideas on what it could be?

furthermore, my car is a manual 6-speed and the other day, i started up, and it would not go from 1st to 2nd.. i could get it into 3rd, but would not go into 4th... the stick was all the way back, but when i released the clutch, the teeth would just grind... i brought it back to the house, turned it off, and started it up about 5 mins later.... all the gears work now... should i be worried about this.. road trip to SC next week.

I am planning on buying a new muffler for my Z28... im thinking Flowmaster... any suggestions?

Thanks guys

Only question I can answer is your exhaust one... If you're just looking into a muffler, check out Magnaflow. Should be part number 12267 (aluminized) or 14267 (polished stainless steel).

I'm a big fan of Holly Hill Muffler. Ask for Mark.
