It took less then a grenade to blow that year old GM Spec tranny up three times, right, Ed? :D Actually... the Ford Repair kit should include three things... a claw hammer, a 5lbs sledge, and a 10 lbs sledge for those hard to fix parts. heh

Yeah, and it took less then a year for my parents Windstar to blow three trannies :p

But I bet that Windstar tranny wasn't built to take 440 foot pounds of torque like Ed's tranny is. :boink:

How the hell did they break 3 trannies. You weren't doing neutral drops in it?

Hey, man. The gears were fine. It just took some time to destroy a couple of synchros...and it was only TWICE. :finger: First time split my 3-4 synchro in half (which I'm sure was defective from the start) and the second was my reverse synchro (which I'm guessing was a fuckup from the first repair).

Been great since. :P

Just crackin' man... No biggy... I'm on my 6th T-5... So I have no room to talk. lol

Nick

P.S. Reverse gear doesn't have a syncro. lol
