Where should I take my car(1994 Z28) to have my sfc's welded in? I don't have the tools and experience to do the job, and I would rather not have some shop catch my car on fire because they inadvertantly cut a fuel line. Thanks for suggestions.

Podlack automotive
No, not Podlack. You need a drive-on lift to do it properly. I'd say talk to Mike Schlack, but he's impossible to get a hold of. Dunno who else could do it around here.

Yeah Ed, that's what I was afraid of. Oh well, I'll continue to look around. Might have to head to O-town I suppose. Sucky.
You could always try calling some muffler shops...while it's not their specialty, they can sure weld without a problem. :dunno:

You can do it without a drive on lift. You just have to put a jackstand in each corner, and shimmy your ass under there. I have a couple of people I go to for weld in jobs like that, but I don't think they would appreciate it if I advertised their names on the net. They aren't public businesses.
You can ask if Holly Hill Muffler an Auto will do it. There is no reason to go to O-town for something as simple as frame conectors.

That's what I was thinking/hoping. It's looking like I'll also have springs/shocks to put in at the same time as well.

Bring it up to Daytona Street & Performance. We'll do the subframes and springs and shocks for ya. We're at 1715 Ridgewood Ave. Holly Hill. Just north of Flomish.

Joe, which shop is his?
Mason Automotive, down in Port Orange. I'm sure it's in the book, or send Brad (BlownPrix) a PM.
