I got back from Daytona to find Nadia (my car) with practically no oil in her. Turns out she needs a new fan, fan belt, and water pump. I'm guessing the oil just burned from her overheating. Does that sound about right? (I have no idea honestly...lol) I didn't find any leaks. Any recommendations as to the brands, etc that I should buy when fixing her? Thanks so much.

Well, turns out the engine mount is broken...so the engine has been rotating pretty well...which broke the fan and emptied the oil out. Just thought that was kinda funny.

Ya, I was just going to tell you to check for that very situation.

here's how to fix it:

tubb it and put a big block in it

how do you empty the oil pan due to a broken engine mount?

guess you'll be doing a trip to your local "parts field" to find a fan...I'd say they are probably expensive thru Ford...

What the hell is an oil seal to a gasket? Never heard of that part before. I'm not sure I know how a broken engine mount would cause it to leak oil either. Time for another engine...Get a nitrous kit so we can finish this one off.

Ok, here's the dealio. Nadia is now completely fixed...and running like you'd never believe. Apparently the engine mount has been REALLY broken since way before I bought her. Now that it's fixed, she runs soooooo smooth. :-D But anyway, from what the mechanics and my grandpa said (no, unfortunately I don't have the friends or the equipment here to change that myself) is that the engine mount was so rotten (I'll bring it down...it's a good laugh) that the engine was pretty much just going haywire. Oil actually spilled out of where it's supposed to go in (which is why I originally thought I cracked the block). But, that's just my blonde version of what happened. I also got the door handle fixed on Nadia. My grandpa and I are going junkyard searching soon. :-D He's taken Nadia under his wing and we're gonna get her fixed up before I come back down hopefully. (Well, minus paint and everything...so I'll have the rainbow car soon.) But anyway, thanks for all the help and concern. Y'all're great. :-D
