I fired up the GN with the new power plant today, broke in the cam and took it out for a ride.
Some of you might remember I had a tie down strap on the driver side of the motor to hold it from torquing, and I the first 1-2 shift It broke the Stainless I bolt on the alternator that holds the strap. I think we are looking at 600ft/lbs at the rear wheels. this thing is an animal.

Lets just see if it can pick the front tire of the ground at the track :D:D

Sounds like you've got a beast on your hands there Joe. Either that, or your bolt wasn't torqed down enough. :P Is there some lumpidy-lump to that idle now? Keep us posted....
